      Did you notice the only time the selector switch was on 5 pin was with the relay without the tab? You can also see in the video that particular relay is a 5 pin relay. The other two relays were 4 pin. Also you really shouldn't call people an idiot, it's not nice and it makes you look bad.

      I think the problem is going to be how big the tank is. You have to heat the aluminum of the work piece hot enough to wick the rod, but not hot enough to melt the work piece.

    Spent $140 on a GOOD Jerry can. Metal latching too and NO strainer. Suggestion: be sure to use ethanol free gas to reduce the risk of rust. AND use a good quality fuel stabilizer if you plan on storing gas. For me, I do both AND use the gas annually for rotation purposes. Remember, you want WINTER BLEND gasoline not summer blend. There is a difference.

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY 2 дні тому

      Nice! I only spent 40 bucks on these GOOD cans. The strainer (flash suppression) came out with a twist of the pliers and the spout got switched out with a nice cap made with some 3D printer magic . ;) I'm a firm believer in not believing in stabilizer, so I just make sure to use what I'm storing and constantly replace it with fresh gas. Pro tip, keep them full and they will not rust. I have 4 of these cans, one Wavian and a few plastic ones that I use for garden tools.

    • @crazysquirrel9425
      @crazysquirrel9425 2 дні тому

      @@1D10CRACY If I constantly replaced what I used then they would have summer blend in them. Summer blend has more chemicals in them. Been using fuel stabilizer for a few years now (Sta-Bil specifically) but there is a better one and it costs a lot more. Sta-Bil is supposed to protect for a year hence the reason I rotate annually. That gas works ok in my vehicle. We imported our Jerry can. Full NATO certification too. Other cans are plain plastic ones. NATO one has no flame arrestor. The weak point on those is the gasket that will wear out in a few years. We store our cans in a place that is difficult to get to without some effort. And having to carry a 40+ pound fuel can any distance is no fun.

    Push the neck in. Hold it. You will see a rubber 'O' ring on the flat end. Remove it. Then the spring loaded restrictor comes right out. I did this and installed one the the NICE metal vent caps. Gas pours out so fast the the truck filler cannot take it that fast! I also added a hose to the nozzle so I am not standing there holding a 40 pound can of fuel. I set the can on the bed rail, inset the tube into the filler neck, tip the can, and it fills quickly. VERY quickly. One of the big problems with gas cans and side filling vehicles is that the filler nozzles are far too short and not flexible. No fun spilling gas while trying to refuel.

    I saw a video on this same hitch about a week ago. I can't remember all the details because I stopped watching when the hitch broke! The guy couldn't install it. Not sure if the receiver was rusted and blocked or what the issue was. If i remember correctly, he literally dropped the hitch and the knob broke off. Is this possible? What's it's max pressure? That would have been a good thing to mention in the video. Some of us have tires that take more than 38 psi. $59+ is pretty pricey if it doesn't work on my higher pressure tires. But, glad that they sent you a free product to evaluate. SCORE!

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY 5 днів тому

      They claim 160psi, but normally these little compressors struggle to achieve that due to heat. I have no way to test those claims unfortunately, but I did mention it in the title of the video. I think these pumps are fine for the average car, but I wouldn't rely on one with tires that require higher PSI's like a truck or an RV. It would probably be best to carry a high volume / high psi pump instead.

    Does the corded Hercules heat gun cycle on/off at full power to maintain a certain temp setting.... Or, is the heating element constantly on but at reduced power to maintain a specific heat temp setting? In other words..... if you were watching the power consumption on a digital watt meter, would it go from 0 watts to 1700 watts, on and off to maintain a certain temp..... Or, would the meter read a constant wattage of, lets say, 800 watts, depending on temp setting? (for example) I am asking this question because if it maintains a given wattage, for a given temp setting, then it would be perfect for load testing generators. It would be real handy if I could slowing turn up the watt draw of the heat gun, which would allow me to slowing sneak up on the advertised watt rating of the generator. Thanks in advance. 🙂
